Evergreen is the western edge of our service area and the most technically demanding terrain we work in. Steep grades, rock, and limited access mean the plan matters more than anywhere else — where equipment can reach often decides the design as much as the design decides the build.

Natural materials are the right answer on these lots. Placed boulders, natural stone steps, and flagstone patios sit correctly in the foothills landscape in a way manufactured block never quite does.

Waterfalls and pondless streams are especially good here, because the existing grade usually provides the drop without any manufactured berm. Done well, a mountain-lot water feature looks like it was always part of the hillside.
